What is engine decarbonization?

In this process, an experienced mechanic mechanically removes excessive carbon deposits on the cylinder head, and then physically blows the accumulated carbon out of the combustion chamber and piston valves. There are two types of engine decarbonization - mechanical and automatic.

Mechanical In this process, a well-trained mechanic first opens the engine, and then physically cleans the carbon according to his experience. It requires a lot of time. Also there is a lot of error potential during engine refitting and this can have dire consequences for the engine.

Automatic decarbonization :-

In this modern method, hydrogen gas is emitted by a special machine which passes through a pipe through the air filter and reaches the engine, which breaks down the deposited carbon and the deposited carbon comes out. This process results in the dissolution of excessive carbon material from fuel injectors, pistons, crown rings and other engine parts.

Causes of carbon deposits in the engine: -

When an engine of a bike or automobile burns its fuel, it releases a huge amount of carbon, smoke and exhaust by-products. This debris gets deposited on the exhaust pipe of the engine, obstructing the flow of air and causing many other problems.

Problems caused by carbon deposits in the engine: -

  • Engine stops running smoothly.
  • The mechanization of the vehicle is reduced.
  • The bike or automobile starts vibrating loudly.
  • Vehicles can jerk.
  • Starts giving less mileage.
  • Starts releasing excessive smoke.
  • Difficulty in changing gear even in low climb etc.

Benefits of engine decarbonization :-

  • It completely cleans the engine.
  • It decarbonises all the integral components of the engine from the inside out. It restores the fuel efficiency of the engine and increases the mileage.
  • It enhances the performance of an engine.
  • It reduces engine vibration and noise.

Why is engine decarbonization important?

Decarbonization is essential for the maintenance of any vehicle that runs on engines. Decarbonization is required to ensure optimum functioning and effective working condition of the engine.

Decarbonization also ensures the safe and smooth operation of vehicles. Decarbonization improves engine efficiency and keeps the vehicle in good condition overall.

Points to be noted at the time of engine decarbonization :-

  • fuel in the tank must be low-
Whenever you are going to get decarbonizing done, remember that the fuel level in the tank should be less than 10 to 15 liters, it will benefit you more.
Should have driven more than 10,000 kms
  • Decarbonizing
If you want to get your vehicle decarbonized, then keep in mind that your vehicle must have covered 10,000 kms. Must have run more than 10,000 kms. Carbon does not accumulate in the engine of a car running below .
Will remain So every 10,000 kms. But by decarbonizing the engine, the life of the engine increased for years.
Preventive maintenance and periodic care are ideal for all cars, bikes and other vehicles. It keeps your vehicles engine healthy and engine running smoothly for years. Therefore, engine decarbonization can be a smart move to reduce the excessive carbon content deposited on the cylinder heads of automobiles and bikes.
Excessive carbon accumulation reduces the effectiveness of machinery. Hence, for proper maintenance and optimum functioning of the engine, every bike, car and all other vehicle owner must visit R.V. for engine decarbonization. R. Must visit Motors, Baijnathpur, Deoghar (Jharkhand).
